Under county zoning Section 27, a view-obscuring fence must be at least 6 feet unless the Board of Supervisors directs otherwise. Plastic sheeting, shade cloth, used garage doors, and non-remanufactured recycled sheet metal are barred as view-obscuring materials.

In the city's own words: "A Kingman zip code does not necessarily mean you live within the City of Kingman." Golden Valley, Butler, Valle Vista, Chloride, and Dolan Springs are all outside city limits and fall under Mohave County.
